Northeastern Men’s Lacrosse

The Northeastern University Men’s lacrosse team has announced a five-game fall ball schedule for the fall of 2009.

The Huskies will begin their 2009 fall ball season on October 4th facing off against both Bentley University and Nichols College. The first game of the double header will begin at 9am, Northeastern will then play Nichols at 10:30am.

The Huskies will next take on their former teammates in the Annual Alumni game to be held on October 24th at Carter field. The game will begin at 2:45pm, with a reception to follow for all Alumni and guests.

On the 25th the Huskies will travel across the river to defend their title in the 2nd Annual Beanpot to be held at Harvard University. Northeastern will take on the Harvard Club Lacrosse team, the winner of that match will face off later in the day with the winner of a match between Boston University and Boston College.

Tryouts for the Northeastern Men’s Lacrosse team will be held this weekend on Carter Field.

This is an open tryout, but all individuals wishing to participate must have the proper paperwork filled out.

Tryouts will be held from 2-4pm this Saturday and 4-6pm on Sunday.
All players should arrive 30 minute prior to actually start times.

The Northeastern Men’s Lacrosse team will hold its preseason meeting for all interested students on Wednesday, September 16th.

The meeting will be held at 9pm in the Curry Student center, room 333.

This meeting will provide an overview to the program, along with team commitments, expectations and goals. The coaching staff will be available to answer any question about the program.

This is an open meeting, but interested athletes are asked to register with the team. Registration can be compelted by filling out the form on the Recruits page.
